About Mosque construction in Ground Zero

Recently, I have read some articles and discussions on Mosque that is being built around Ground Zero. There are two sides to this recent hot issue. One is that building Mosque near Ground Zero is humiliation to people who died of the 9.11 attack and can cause more of such tragedies to happen. There is no way that I can fully understand how much pain and sorrow these people who were in the incident(or accident?) have exprienced. I do despise what the terrorists or hijackers have done on that day. For that reason, I strongly oppose the other side that argues that building Mosque around the area is a symbol of peace and shows how much they care about the damage of loss. If they considered how those families would feel about this, they should take into account of that the construction near the area can only raise a controversy and hurt the families more. It shows that they are not wise and can only look hypocritical.

Yet, what I found very hard to tolerate was not, first of all, the news of the construction. It was that some people who rallied against the construction shout for the anti-Islamization of America. I do understand the incident(or accident) left a scar deeply in their heart. I do understand building Mosque around the area is intolerable to them. However, it is surprising to see how the incident has caused some people not to see that maybe those(or even some) supporters of Mosque are really sincere and take the symbol of peace for real. I think that the opposers take it to a little extreme when they say, "Islam near Ground Zero brings shame to all the people out there". Such words mark Islam as something bad that is not allowed in and near the area, which is just discrimination. The people who are sad get angry more easily. Right now, they are angry about how a hideous act that took away their loved ones is recurring by the construction. They are angry about how nonsense this construction is. Yet, if they can spare some time to look at themselves, I hope what they see is not the people who discriminate others, because it is also very nonsense.

As my first blog story, I feel like I have jibberished a lot. Some of my points are nonsense, and it is not clear to see which side I support. To be honest, I am not sure myself. It seems like both sides do not make sense at the basic level, and I think I am just in the middle. You may call me a coward or an indecisive one. But really, I can't agree with either of them.
